A Natural Disasters Awareness Programme was organized at the School of Scholars in Gadchiroli by the Government of Maharashtra  Disaster Management Dept on Aug.3, 2024. The event was aimed at students of classes 6 to 10 to sensitize them about the importance of disaster preparedness and safety measures. The programme focused on raising awareness about various natural disasters such as droughts, floods, earthquakes, thunderstorms, hailstorms, snake bites, and fires. It covered the causes, effects, and mitigation strategies for these disasters. The programme highlighted the devastating effects of such disasters and helped students understand the importance of being prepared and knowing the necessary safety measures.
